A man has the hiccups so he goes into a bar and asks for a glass of water then he says thank you and walks out he no longer has the hiccups but he did not drink the water how is this possible?

When the bartender looked at him, it scared the hiccups away!!! So therefore, he didn't need the glass of water to get rid of it since it was already gone!!!

Mabe because he might have just had a short term of hiccups and he might have lost the hiccups when he got the water to get rid of them.

yeah i agree w/ the other ppl that said so i think u wrote the riddle wrong. the bartender pulls out a gun instead of giving him water. and the gun scares him so the hiccups go away
