It was something simple, as the best things always are. I was checking out at a grocery store, and one checker had just turned her light out to go to lunch, and saw me with just a couple of items, and waved me over, and reopened her register.
I don't know the lady, she just did one of those random acts of kindness and I thought, my gosh , she has been on her feet for hours, no manager told her to reopen, she was just a kind spirited person. Those are the moments you have to stop and smile and cherish when they come your way.
Great question, by the way. It makes me think, at the end of everyday I should think and find what happened to inspire my faith in mankind.!

My life-changing moment where I decided mankind was basically good was this -
Years ago a total stranger (a nurse) was crying tears of joy when I was waking up from my coma.

I have since seen a lot of the bad side of humanity (a bit more tonight than I expected) but also a lot more of the good. The thing is the good side is so much more good and there's so much more of it than the bad side.

Tonight, someone on YA made me cry with their cruelty but several someone elses gave me good advice and sympathy. It more than balanced out the bad. Those people shined more light on me than the darkness shadowed.

Someone I haven't heard from in a few months called me to see how I was doing. I didn't expect that they would. The biggest thing and more important than that was what happened last night. It had the bigget impact on my life in the last year and I shall not forget it ever. It made me so very happy and yet hurt at the same time. It was very humbling for both of us and brought me closer to the reality of an issue that I wanted an answer to for so long. I thank GOD for HIS loving me.........

I don't place my faith in mankind, we're too unpredictable. Jesus Christ is the only one we can truly have faith in in order to better mankind.

I figured out that each and every one of us is a part of God. Suddenly I realized that I had to love everybody the same. Or I was seeing some part of God as unacceptable?

How likely is that.
