Hey y'all, my boyfriend has gorgeous auburn hair, all one length, to just below his shoulders. Here's the problem: he wears it back in a ponytail all the time and I want him to try different styles. I've been tryin' to get him to let me do it in rollers (I'm a cheerleader & I hvae to curl my hair like 3X week), put it in braids, and so on. So far he wont let me even tho I've shown him some really cute pics of curly / wavy hairstyles. I know he'd look so cute in curls (& in rollers!) and his Mom wants hiim to let me start doing his hair too. How can I convince him to let me roll his hair?

Share a bath together and then wash both your hair and then his hair, you should then put your hair in rollers before putting his hair into rollers as well and just simply tell him that you would like to see some curls and waves in his hair and tell him that he can always wash his hair again if he doe's not like it.

Get his mum to phone you one night when he is having a shower and make an excuse that you've come over to help his mum roller set her hair,

Do this in front of him and then get his mum to set you, both of you should try then to convince him to put some rollers in to his hair and that you will keep it a secret between you

Don't. You can always tell hair that is rolled. It doesn't look natural. I don't blame him -- he will look like a girl. Curls are great on a man, but only real ones. Sorry.

Roller set hair on a guy? NO!
His hair is gorgeous because he doesn't screw around with it. Leave it alone! This is why allot guys have better hair then girls.
LEAVE IT ALONE!

Try seeing if he'll let you just curl his hair first with gel so it gets the slightly scrunchy look. If he likes that, maybe he'll let you move up!

He is a man right? Not too many men want curly hair!

LEAVE HIM ALONE! He is going to end up hating you for trying to make him into a girlie man. NO guy I know wants his girl foo-fooing with his hair. Leave the curlers for your giant makeup Barbie head!

You'll have to make it seem "manly".Make a compromise. Curly...In a pony tail at first...

i personally don't like long hair on guys. let him do what he wants with it. don't do it yourself. he's not a girl.
