Lactose is a type of sugar !
To be more specific Lactose is a disaccharide...a carbohydrate containing 2 Monosaccharides ( glucose and galactose ) bond together !

Yes. Don't drink lactose-free milk, it's probably full of chemicals etc...
Sheep and goat's milk still have lactose I think, but there's a lot less.
Soy milk has none, and it doesn't taste too bad if you get used to it =]

Lactose is an enzyme. It is present in milk. Soya milk contains no lactose, and Goat's milk is lower in lactose than cow's milk.

Lactose in all milk / dairy products, and check for labels that says contains MILK ingredients. That includes: cakes, crackers, some chips, your halloween candies (moderate) etc.

no duh hun.... lactose is the sugar formed through the protein lactaid which is in milk and milk products unless the nutritional stats say otherwise
