I have been married before and of course...divorced. I believe in waiting til marriage before having sexual relations but it seems almost impossible to find someone with the same morals.

I aint expecting a virgin...just someone who keeps sex "inside" the marriage.

The prevailing culture is hard on both men and women, in different ways. Sexual intimacy before marriage can cloud and compromise judgment. It releases oxytocin, a bonding hormone, in women, and they form an emotional attachment to a man who may not be the guy they truly seek for a lasting relationship. I think many women offer sex because they're afraid they won't have dates if they don't.
Since sex is so freely available, most men take what is offered indiscriminately, and then find themselves with women who are emotionally attached to them when they may not return the feeling. These Yahoo questions are filled to the brim with that scenario.
It's a recipe for a big, messy disaster and for one failed relationship after another, so that both men and women become sad and shopworn.
Kudoes to you! There are plenty of women (everywhere, not just in church!) who would consider you to be a real jewel.

Because of all the pressure these days to just have sex as soon as possible-and it seems most guys expect it. Did you know that 20% of teenagers under the age of 14 have already had sex? And that percentage just increases as the age does-so by the time you're left at age (i'm guessing here) 30 up, i'd say the only people who haven't had sex would be nuns and priests... And if you want to get together with someone but then wait until you're married to have sex, and you've both already had sex (like in your previous marriage) , what exactly is being proven? Most people can't see the point after that-because they're not saving their virginity any more. So therefore, having sex before marriage isn't as big a deal... still, it's pretty good to see a guy with morals these days...goodluck in your quest to find 'the one'.

I don't believe you have to go to church in order to find a girl who saves her self until marriage. It has to do with personal convictions and morals not religion. But in this day in age it is extremely difficult to find someone with those morals! You shouldn't base a relationship on that though, if you love a girl and she has slept with people in the past then don't judge her on that, we all make mistakes. Don't look for a girl with just that particular characteristic, because when you look for that you will never find it...It's kind of interesting how you want this innocent virgin girl and you obviously believe in these convictions and yet you are divorced... Anyway, I agree that sex is only for marriage too, you will be surprised how many people actually think this way, they are just too afraid to speak out because they will be the minority. One thing is for sure, don't look for someone with those kind of morals in a club or a bar...

Because people want a test drive before buying. There is such a thing as sexual incompatibility and finding that out after marriage would be no good. What if sex for you was just awful? How could your marriage last with awful sex? It's not everything, but enough to make it crumble. Just food for thought.

Face it. You're divorced. If a girl put up with all the pressure to wait until marriage, she probably would want her first to be with someone who is very inexperienced at the very most.
You're probably better off with someone who has been divorced too. That way, she'll have lowered expectations and you won't let her down too.

Because we are horny and we have seen the light!!! There are some girls out there like that, but at your age (you must be older if you are divorced) it'll be hard to find - and PLEASE don't date younger girls - they deserve better than some old divorced guy.
Even in church, those girls are just as bad. I am sure you could meet tons of chicks on line that feel the same way though.

In Bangladesh Women usually have physical relation after marriage.
This happens same to India, Sri Lanka.

Well I think most people rather test the equipment before buying it first. I rather be with someone who knows what their doing then a guy that doesn't; but that's just me, cause my boyfriend knows what he's doing.

well, u have the girls that are like u and a saving everything for marriage, but they are hard to find. most of them are shy. but then again u have the plain out sluts. most of them u can find anywhere. there are girls with ur morals....u just have to try harder.

Since birth control became available, women have turned into a bunch of horny $luts. Be careful, they want to move in and get free rent too. My suggestion is to date women at your church. Then you might have a chance.
