There's NOTHING wrong with questioning one's religion. I, too was brought up catholic, and went to their OWN books (because I didn't trust anyone else at the time) to study up on what they stood for. I came to my own conclusions, and I suggest you do the same. Christianity is the THINKING MAN'S FAITH, it is NOT, however a particular religion. It is a relationship with GOD, not something that can be achieved through something that man tells you to do. The Bible says to "study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
If your heart is searching, God will show you the truth.
God bless you in your way.

And you should not believe everything you are told. Sounds to me like you are searching, not completely satisfied with what has been taught to you and that is not a bad thing. Maybe it is not so much a lack of faith as it is a conviction. Maybe God is drawing you down another path. I mean in all reality no one religion is 100% right. I for one believe in Christ but I don't agree with Christianity on a whole. Maybe God wants you to have a deeper understanding of who He is, that one specific doctrine can not provide. I suggest prayer and fasting. Do research on different religions and traditions. You will be surprised at what you find. God answers those that search for truth and do not just buy into the gimmic no matter how good it may sound.

We use faith every day, believing that your car will start, or that the light switch will work, or that a chair will hold you up. You can't become a Christian by going to Catholic school any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. If you are honest with God, He'll show you what your looking for, but it might take "faith".

may be because you are not so convinced of what you believe,I mean it could be there ambiguous and obscure things in your religion that you can't understand them! I don't know, you christians have many ambiguous things that make someone crazy and talking to himself! for example; you believe in three Gods:father, son, holy ghost but at the end they are one! and then you spend your life trying to understand and solve this puzzle!
so if your believes are puzzles, just like above, then I don't blame you if you have a hard time to believe and to convince of what you have been learned and told!
may God help you and show you the right path, and give you a strong faith to live in peace of mind.

Even Mother Theresa had times of unsureness about her faith, and unfortunately it's something we all go through. In the end, our faith is exactly that...........our very own personal belief unique to each of us. With that thought in mind, how we react, or think is for we alone to decide so please let your mind and that within you be your guide, and never, never, let anyone tell you how or what to believe. It's your life and your relationship with and within the universe, and no one can live for you, that's your task.

Pray that God would increase your faith or that he would show you how to move mountains with the faith you already have. You'll be OK.
