My boyfriend and I play fight a lot but sometimes it gets out of hand. Sometimes I have accidently hurt him and then he has done something to intentionally hurt me back. Like for example last night we were wrestling and I kicked him in the head..he then grabbed my foot and twisted it until it popped four times while I was screaming in pain. He looked so scary and hateful. I love him so much but I am terrified that things may get out of hand. I need some advice.

i would talk to him and explain your feelings. My husband and I used to play fight and when things gor out of hand I think he thought I was able to handle the come back, because I was willing to play. Men often forget how strong they are. Once I explained to my husband he was hurting me everything changed.

You cant leave him just because of what you've explained above. By allowing play fighting between you & your bf, till it get so physical, you have opened the doors to tell him that you're a rough gal and can be treated as an equal opponent as in terms of wrestling. I also think that its not a good idea to continue your play fight. You may get hurt when it does get out of hand. It's also not fair for you to be able to hurt him physically and not vis-a-vis. That's call abuse too, but this time, he will be on the receiving end.

You love him, but does he love you? He may say so, but actions speak louder than words. What do you think will happen if you continue with this relationship? These incidents surely won't go away. In fact, I can say with some certainty they will only escalate. That's what always happens. Know this: there are guys out there who will love you and NOT HURT YOU PHYSICALLY, EVER! You should be terrified, because things WILL get out of hand if you stay with him. And don't think for a minute you can change him. You can't. Don't even try, because this kinda **** is something he has to want to change himself, and for no other reason.

If this guy cant understand the difference between stop (giggle, giggle) and stop (scream, scream) then something is the matter. The whole thing is if your playing and then you accidently do something to hurt him its totally different than he doing something to hurt you on purpose. That is NOT ok..
My advice tell him how you feel and the next time he "plays" that hard again, let him go before he really hurts you.

Leave him. I know play fighting starts OUT just playing, but if he has the ability to hurt you like that when you're playing, then he has the ability to do it even worse if he's actually angry.
It may not SEEM like it right now, but he's showing you that he has control over you through his ability to cause pain. You don't need that. Don't try to tough it out and show him how formidable an opponent you can be. It will only make him try harder to hurt you. That is not an equal partnership...that's him dominating you. Don't put up with it!

You people sound like a wrestling team to me.Maybe its time you turned pro.Heard that wwf pays a lot maybe you two can make a fortune wrestling.LOL.Just kidding dont mind.I think talking is the first step let the person know he is hurting you if that fixes it fine if not then take stronger preventive measures.

As hard as it may be, you need to get away from him before he hurts you really bad. An accident is an accident, but he is hurting you intentionally. GET OUT! Do it for your own safety.

I wouldn't be playing around with him cause it sounds like he can be abusive. If you hit him in the head and he knew it was an accident then he should've never twisted your leg. If he looked hateful then he was serious. I wouldn't put up with it.

Well you use two important words; accidental and intentional. If you accidentally kicked him and he purposely harmed you, that is a problem. It would be a problem too if you did the same back to him. I would suggest not wrestling anymore and be careful. A man who wants to "teach" you a lesson by harming you physically is dangerous.
