I like (or i should say liked) one of my guy friends. He and i talk all the time and i was getting the impression that he liked me. (not just my conclusion other people thought so too) and then yesterday when we were talking he asked about one of our mutual friends a few times. I asked if he liked her and he reluctantly said yes, and i then offered to set them up. why, i don't know, but i fealt that i couldn't react all upset so i made the best of it. and today he's talking to me, but not like he has in the past. could there have been something i missed?

He might be interested in you. The fact that you tried to set him up might be interpreted as you not liking him. Guys are more straight forward, so don't play games with him anymore. If you like him, come right out and say it. He may reluctantly admit to liking some girl because he feels like he can trust you. But you might be the one that he likes more.
Remember, no more head games and beating around the bushes.

No, he doesn't like you. When a man likes a woman he never ever discusses another woman. Very very nice you took the high road though and offered to set them up, but don't involve yourself anymore after this, you are the busy girl who all the boys like and you don't have time to play matchmaker for anyone, especially someone not into you.

Things are strange, just be friends with him if it is you he is interested in, give him time to come around, if it isn't, you will still have a friend and the knowledge you gain from the friendship, don't pressure him or more than likely, he'll be gone. Just continue being his friend and see what developes.
My friend and I fell in love a month ago, and we just wanted to be friends.

He might have said that to see your reaction....Maybe he wanted you to step up and say something guys like to root around like that...Men have problems sometimes being upfront so they tend to do things like that....Don't be discouraged though maybe, he is talking to you differently because he wants to say something but, can't get it out....Don't play desperate though girl make him want it guys love the chase act like you don't care like you have and eventually he will come around good luck

Don't feel bad - very few of us would have handled the situation any better. You seem like a good person, hopefully it will work out for you. Good luck!

You should never have offered to set them up. Let him see her himself. Dont know why i've got this feeling but he might have been checking to see if you cared.

yep, when you offered to set him up, you gave him the impression that you weren't interested in him, so as to fling him off to someone else. best wishes

its human to want more... and more so with men... at least until they are committed, they keep looking for options... so dont let his act bother you.. you have blown nothing away... someone who knows you and loves you for who you are will come to you.. it could be him or someone else... but thats not in your control.. so, forget abt it and be yourself... All the best!
