No it is not a bad idea. You can have a baby safely at home with a mid-wife or you can save your money and deliver at the hospital. Just because you don't have insurance doesn't mean you are on welfare. And if you were temporarily there is nothing wrong with that.
I've always had insurance expect early on with a miscarriage I had. But all of my children birth were with insurance. God has always made the way. And I'm sure he will with you.

I think that there are a lot of people having babies with out insurance, so I don't think that should be your deciding factor. There are several options for the birth, like using a midwife and not having the baby at the hospitol.
The only thing you will want to think about is that complications happen all the time and you'll have to be prepared that you may end up at the hospitol.
MOst of the time these days you can work out payment plans.

Fertility treatments are expensive. You can always deliver the baby in an emergency room, but you need prenatal, and post natal care, and so does the baby.
Get some insurance first

I would highly recommend having insurance first. My husband and I are going to have a baby, and it was so hard to get insurance because we are in that slim region where we make too much money to get help from the state and not enough to pay for it. It was very stressful, especially on top of all the morning sickness and the changes that you will go through.

YES- what if the pregnancy encounters problems, then you'll be sent to a county hospital where you can sit for hours or days before being seen. Fertility costs thousands, you need injections everyday that are costly. So tell your husband what the hell are you thinking? Also its your body and you have to go through all this! He just sits back.

Yes. One might call it ridiculously stupid. Having a kid is expensive especially for the medical bills, both for the mother during and after pregnancy and then for the baby, who will need to be checked and rechecked a lot to watch for problems. And what if there are complications during the pregnancy? What if the baby is premature and needs to be in an incubator? There can be lots of surprise costs. Doing it without insurance could keep you in permanent debt.

It seems like a bad idea. Even if you are able to foot the bill for standard prenatal care, complications could bankrupt your new family. Moreover, you should consider the long term implications of raising a child with limited access to medical care.

I THINK IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE OPINION'S OF PEOPLE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW SO MUCH, NO. YOU SHOULD NOT. KIDS NEED PARENTS WHO ARE SURE OF THEMSELVES, THAT WAY THEY CAN GROW UP IN A STABLE HOME AND LEARN ABOUT SELF WORTH, AMONG A GREAT DEAL OF OTHER IMPORTANT LESSONS.
