sometimes when I'm floating in between light and heavy sleep or just between being awake and falling asleep I will literally feel myself being grabbed and sunken in my bed and I go into strong seizures and halluncinate very badly. The hallucinations range from sounds of insane laughter to the feeling of a small monkey crawling on my head, and visions of swirling color patters like the sun all tie-died. I have to use all my energy to release myself from this state and afterward I feel very "used up" like..drained...and confused.

What's that all about?

My son had something similar to this when he was young and I took him to the doctor, the doctor called these night tremors. My son would jump up and look wide awake and be screaming and crying sometimes and saying things were after him. The doctor said never to shout or try to wake him in a loud manner.Just to console and try to calm him down until he would go back to sleep,My son is grown now and doesnt have them any more.It was a scary thing when it would happen,I dont know how old you are I only hope yours will eventually pass to. Good Luck.

My dear I have Epilepsy and if you think that you have it too you can actually go on Valium to see if that controls these night terrors you have. I'm 50 yrs old and have lived with the problem all my life. But if you can get your self on Valium which isn't very strong you might be doing yourself a favor than by going on these anticonvulsant drugs that they have for Epilepsy. There is antiseizsure properties within Valium which is good for people that have a very mild seizure disorder during their sleep.

I took care of a lady who had seizures in her sleep....... I had to work graveyard and listen for her all night long because of these seizures. You need to see a doctor and get on seizure medicane.......... you are DEF. having seizures, there is no mistake about that! and your parents or roomate or someone who lives with you needs to take a class about dealing with seizures to protect you. Her seizures were not always threatning but one night I had to call the ambulance, she fell off the bed and banged her self up badly! Good Luck and God Bless

I feel that exact same thing, just like you said im on medicaton that makes me sleep all night and takes all the voices and thins i see away. I literlly go crazy one time they took me to a (mental) hospital in san antonio tell your doctor and tel him to get you some medicine for the night so it can take it all away and make you sleep. I see ti-died things to like weird sh*t. Dont smoke weed cuz that will do the same thing. Just dont do any kind of drugs especially cocaine that makes you hallucinate like crazy. *good luck* :)

One do you actually suffer from seizures? two if that becomes a problem you might want to go see a doctor. But that could be from being overly stressed or tired so check it out. I kinda had something like that happen to me before.

This could be sleep apnea. See your doctor. It is air being cut off to the brain.

You should go see a specialist doctor to see why this is happening. It may be an anuerysm or brain tumour.
