i liked this guy, his name is alex and i flirted with him on myspace and all this stuff, and in a way i asked him out and he was like sorry i dont really think your that pretty and that really hurt me, cause everyone says im pretty and im not trying to be like omg im ugly im going to kill myself but like i dont know what to do. and on the other hand i kinda like this other guy, his name is dan. we went out to starbucks and stuff it wasa pretty bad date but ok, ( by the way both of these guys are a grade older then me and know each other) casue like wehn im around dan im just kidna like ok whatever, i kinda like you, but wheni see alex like in the halls ( i dont actualy go upto him and talk) my heart is like omg he is so hot, but he called me ugly, and i have these weird wasy of TRYING to get alexs atention and i just cant helo myself, i need someother ways to get his atention rather then screeming or jumping on a locker
and i dont know what to do about dan and and alex

This is going to sound mean, but if he doesn't find you attractive why would you want to go out with him. I mean suppose you did go out with him knowing that he felt that way. You would never be able to be comfortable around him, and you would always feel like you had to impress him. Forget about him and look for someone that you know is equally attracted to you as you are to them.

Sounds like what you have is an infatuation with a good looking boy. People sometimes act stupid around the person they like, so you're not just stupid by yourself there. I would think Alex is a very immature boy since he actually called you ugly. I'm sure you're not ugly at all. You need to show Alex that you'll be fine without his stupid approval. Don't just go out with Dan because it's "pretty ok". Concentrate on school and improving yourself now.

First off, you are not stupid.
Everyone who posts will say this but it's true.
You may be confused but you havn't done anything that reflects a serious lack of judgement - you...are...not...stupid.
Not that we have that out of the way...
If you like a guy and want to be with him, you can't be with another guy. He will consider you unavaliable.
It seems as though you don't really like "Dan" so don't stay with him just to see his friend.
Alex calling you ugly may just be him playing hard-to-get (which I think is lame) or he's just really not interested in you. You should find him and talk to him alone and ask him how he truly feels about you; and that you will accept what he says right then, no turning back.
Just talk to him: you already have his attention.
If you like him, you need to find out how he feels, too, and act quickly (don't let him waste your time)!

You may not be stupid it's just that you a women. In women standards you may be somewhat smart. If a guy said that you was not that pretty then you just have to face the facts. Try more make up the hide the real you, if that don't work then think about plastic surgery. I understand that they can do miracles these days.
