Will you accept any answer you are provided besides "Yes"?
Didn't think so.
A fool exults is his own perceived superior intellectual capacity, and only a fool asks questions the answers to which he or she already thinks he or she knows.

I'm an atheist, but I say the answer is No. Christianity by itself is not an abnegation of intelligence. I know Christians who are quite open minded and intelligent.
However, Fundamentalist Christianity is an abnegation of intelligence. Anyone who believes that the Bible is 100% the literal word of God has clearly allowed their faith to cloud their reasoning.

Hmm, if you're going to use big words, use them properly:
Main Entry: ab·ne·ga·tion
Pronunciation: "ab-ni-'gA-sh&n
Function: noun
Etymology: Late Latin abnegation-, abnegatio, from Latin abnegare to refute, from ab- + negare to deny -- more at NEGATE
abiosis
The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search box to the right.
So, "is Christianity the "to refute" of intelligence" makes no sense.
No, Christianity doesn't refute intelligence.

Do you personally know each individual Christian? I didn't think so,so how can you say we are less intelligent than anyone else? Where is your proof that we aren't as smart,or smarter, than those who don't believe in God? Your self-proclaimed superiority will one day be your downfall,my friend.I hope you soon learn a little humility, because the fall from that high pedestal you've placed yourself on can be very painful.

christianity is an informed rational decision to follow god so it is not self denial of intelligence, it is more feasible that god does exist, we know atoms exist because science tells us? you can not disprove the existance of god. without god we would be without life, so christianity is full of life.
