First of all congratulations for your new dog. First of all I would ask a friend or family member what they would name it and write it down on a list. When you think you have enough people you look for the name you think sounds the best. If that doesn't work for you then you should try to combine what he looks like and what is your favorite something. Like my friend named her rabbit Oreo and he has black and white fur and her favorite cookie is an Oreo.

Something very friendly....trust me, for folks who want to think of rotties as tough guys it will seem tongue-in-cheek funny. For folks who are nervous around him, it will help put them at ease.
My old neighbor had a huge, over-sized rottie the looked quite scary.....her name was Mouse and she would let toddlers in the neighborhood sit on her back!
