La Suisse est un pays enclavé, avec des frontières avec la France, l'Italie, l'Allemagne et l’Autriche. On y trouve les montagnes les plus hauts des Alpes.

Chevalier was on the right track but made a few mistakes in his translation. Here is a correct French version (including a guess at completing your last sentence):

La Suisse est un pays sans littoral. Elle est bordée par la France, l'Italie, l'Allemagne et l'Autriche. On y trouve les plus hauts sommets des Alpes.

La Suisse est sans débouché sur la mer. Il borde la France, l'Italie, l'Allemagne, et l'Autriche. Les plus hautes élévations dans les Alpes.

I think this is right. It is written in formal tense, so hopefully that is what you wanted. Aujourd'hui j'étudie le français. (Today, (and everyday) I study French) De rien!

I would go with chev's answer.

The first answer means it's not open to the sea.
Of course that essentially means the same thing.
Depends what you prefer. But I think the second one translates more precisely. The mountain bit sounds better too in the second one. (no offence to the first answer, good job)

Ah man, I know people who could do this without a translator's help. I am not that fluent though...
