Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

"Here is an easy recipe for roasting fresh pumpkin seeds."
Original recipe yield: 1 1/2 cups

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.

You have to wash and dry the pumpkin seeds. After that set the oven on low (300-325) and bake them to dry them out even more. You can leave them in up to an hour. After they are done, salt them. They are very yummy!! Good luck

Back in oven until they are golden brown. Be sure to wash them and let them air dry before you bake them. You should check them every few minutes. It depends on how big the seeds are but 10 min. in a 325-350 degree oven.

Go to www.pumpkin.com, they have the directions for roasting the seeds I was just there today then found out they have way too many points for me doing Weight Watchers, I fed them to the chickens, they loved them.

1/2 hour to 45 mintues but it depends on how dry they are and how brown you want them
