There are dozens of ways to develop your lower abs. Without getting technical, your abs are divided into two sections. Your upper abs are developed based on your upper body pulling downward. Your lower abs are defined by your legs and hips pulling upward.

One of the easiest ways to work on your lower abs are to just lift your knees up while doing crunches. You can either hold them there in the air as you do crunches or bring them to your chest as you're moving upwards into the crunch.
