Be mindful. I am a Buddhist. We believe that if we are mindful of each thing that we do, then it can take on an entirely different, and much deeper, meaning. We enter into the moment, not try to avoid it. So if we are doing laundry, we use this as a time of meditation. Please learn more about this technique of mindfulness. You do not have to be Buddhist to benefit from it. Look for "Being Peace" by Thich Nhat Hanh, a very kind and wise Buddhist monk from Vietnam who now lives at Plum Village in France.

My motivation comes from a natural and healthy (22 calories - 4 grams of sugar - diabetic safe) energy drink that I drink 2 times a day and only cost $1.oo per serving. Once at 8:30 am and then again right after lunch. It has done wonders for me (but I'm 45) and has given me more than enough energy to get up off the couch and out of the recliner to take care of those honey do's around the house. The wives are saying AMEN and the husbands are saying ... Well I stopped cussing years ago

Start by breaking up the tasks into achievable goals. Tackle the easiest one first-that will hopefully give you the stimulus to keep going.Reward yourself- tea/coffee break after so much has been achieved. Don't forget to remember how good you felt when it was all done. Look around and see the before and after. Hopefully this will make it less difficult next time. I swim 20 lengths most mornings- getting out of bed is the hard part!

First, get your mind hyped up. Cause your body wont do anything that your mind wont do. Pysch yourself up. then think about the house being clean, or think about yourself being fit, wearing the clothes you wanna wear. Then set a plan in motion to make it work. Just remember that things take time.
