How long does it take a vitamin or a supplement pill to reach your bloodstream? The reason I ask, is that I am taking a supplement that is best taken on an empty stomach. How long do I have to wait before I can eat?

If it says to take it on an empty stomach you can either take it 2 hours after you eat or 1 hour before you eat. They don't expect you to wait until it's totally into your bloodstream before you eat. Good luck

The rule of thumb is that pills that need to be taken on an empty stomach are taken either one hour before meals or two hours after a meal. So in your case, one hour should do it.
