"Marijauna in its natural form is one of the safest therapeutically active sustances known to man (Raymond 2006)."

This is a scientific fact. Marijuana is demonized and most everyone is miseducated about it simply because it's usually smoked, not drunk or orally administered.

ANYWAY, I know a lot about drugs and am in a psychopharmacology class right now (drugs and behavior.) Marijauna is not worse than any pain killer, even something like tylenol. In fact tylenol is worse. So no, it is not worse. The heavy pain killers like opiods are "worse" than marijuana, although any drug in moderation can be safe. So you could say that smoking marijuana is equal in safety to taking ibuprofin or something. Cannabis has a wide range of medicinal values and it does not cause brain damage, nor does it have any long-term effects. I hope that helps.

"Well painkillers are technically a poison designed to stop your body telling you somethings wrong. So they probably all just as bad." That is false because there are opiod receptors in the brain. Our brains have the ability to help us withstand a certain amount of pain but opiod pain killers help fascilitate this action so we can withstand more pain. It's not a poison.

well actually i smoke marijuana for pain from a muscle disorder i have and to help me sleep,i could sometimes be up for 24 ,but I stopped 4 yrs ago after smoking for about 4yr and now the doctors think i may have MS and a chemical in marijuana may have caused it. the chemical causes the covering of the nerve endings in the brain to be destroyed, and they don't repair....so yes it is worse....

Marijuana is a plant like any other plant that grows outside. It can be used for good or bad.

Personally, I believe it is a natural and therefore great substance, it is only the politics of man that make it "bad." And since it can "prevent Alzheimers, help with glaucoma and Aids, I see no reason not to use it."

Good luck!

I would think that taking the pain killers would be worse.
On the legal end of this question...well, you already know the answer to that.
You gotta do what you gotta do though.

It would depend on if the pain killers are prescribed to you or not.
