I found what seems to be a really nice Silverado-king cab truck -it is in very nice condition--a little over 100,000 miles loaded with power options etc. Is this a good price? Did test drive and it runs pretty good...so what do ya's think?

Yeah it's worth it provided it has never been in a bad accident and fixed.

it's 10 years old! Does it have 6 or 8 cylinder? 305 0r 350? 2WD or 4WD? automatic or standard? What's the body look like? Is the engine and underneath clean or oil slicked? Tires? Lot's of questions to get a fair price! You might try www.kellybluebook.com and follow the "used car" section to see where abouts the price falls. The Vortecs are pretty much 200,000 mile engines with a good preventative maintaintence program. Pop the oil fill cap and look in the engine. Is it nice and clean or all gummed up looking with black gunk? Indicates if the guy changed the oil regularly or not. If it's all gunked then probably was not well maintained at all!

It's an OK price.... nothing special. I checked Autotrader and found several for less. But if there are none in your area then it's a good price.

Sounds like a decent price. I'd invest the $20.00 or whatever and get a carfax first.

Is it totaled? Was it totaled? You should have a mechanic look at it and make sure the title is not salvaged.
