Unfourtuantly there is no natural remedy that is going to be completely effective. The best thing to do is get your puppy started on a flea preventative such as advantix or frontline. Also you may want to treat your yard a time or two. Most home remedys don't work and if they do they will not prevent the problem. The fleas will continue to come back. Just remember that you can't apply frontline or advantix for 2 to 3 days before or after a bath. They are completely safe for your dog and not matter what these ignorant people tell you they will not hurt your dog if they ingest it. Just apply it between the shoulder blades and directly on the skin so he can't like it off. Cause if he licks it off of course it won't work as well. Good Luck! And congrats on your new pup.

PLEASE take your puppy to the Vet. A new puppy needs to be examined for a number of things. You need a fecal sample tested for parasites. The Vet knows what is best for the pup to get him healthy and keep him that way.
Every dog needs heartworm medicine and Frontline flea/tick every month of the year. The heartworm medicine prevents almost all other worms from infecting the dog too.

Natural products do not always work the way they are advertised. You have to do what is best to keep your dog healthy and happy. No one can do that except your Vet.

Try bathing your puppy in the DAWN dish washing liquid, but be sure to rinse it well,it will kill the fleas on it,then use the once a month flea preventative Advantage if pet is 7 weeks old or older, and spray your lawn with a flea killer, but don't allow pet on it until all spay is dry.The dawn is what they use on all wild life that gets soaked in oil spills and is very safe for your pet.
