I've been thinking about going on the fruits and veggies fast, but I'm not quite sure how it works and how much I have to eat in a day. If there is anybody out there who knows anything about this diet could you please help me? Thanks!

Im vegetarian too, and I eat lots of vegetables like 6 servings a day and 4 servings of fruits. Then I eat 1-1 1/4 servings of nuts. It helps you lose weight, regulate your metabolism, won't get any disease except you need to buy vitamin b12 supplements (found in meat products especially in beef and chicken breasts). Eat peanut butter good source of protein so you won't lose hair or slower skin development.

yes its called the raw foods diet, it is an excellent diet, just make sure that you get some nuts in there. you need protein. Most vegans are on the raw foods diet. The raw food diet means that is made by nature and you can eat it raw just the way it is made in nature. Just make sure if you are going on the raw foods diet that you buy your fruits and veggies from a whole foods market that sales organic foods. Nothing like eating an apple induced with pesticides. Organic foods are much more healthy for you. Eat like you normally would. Use the proportion method, such as an apple is the size of a sandwhich and so on. There is no set amount. Eat until you are full but dont stuff yourself. Eat small meals throughout the day keeping you satisfied and full of energy and it will speed up your metabolism rather than big meals. also drink plenty of water and juice. NO SODAS, they are the worst and can cause osteoporosis among other diseases. Good luck, I am a nutritionist and I use this diet. As soon as I started this diet, I look and feel better and I lost 20lbs in 4 months just from the diet, nothing else.

It’s Friday brunch time and you simply can’t stop going back for seconds. But hang on! Stop for any minute and suck on an additional strong mint. The flavour will put you off that finally plate of chicken korma/roast beef/sushi medley.

If you eat when you’re pressured, try munching on pumpkin as well as sunflower seeds. You’ll need in order to chew more, which will dissipate most of that energy, but without incorporating calories.

It’s certainly not weight-loss, it’s health-gain. Think about your changes in an effort to gain things, not lose these.
