Is spooky but doable...
Especially when you make the lines
Very short.
All in all
Free verse is easy
But you should notice that this is not free verse
but blank - with no rhythm
So don't copy it
Or you'll fail.

the most obvious answer is to look at a poem then study the formation of the poem, and then,create your own based on the way the first was created.

you should brainstorm! the lines don't have to be totally out there, or completely original. you could come up with simple lines, and then maybe mix the words up so it sounds like you were born to be a professional poet.

turn the damn tv off and get to work... and then write about what you see and what your thoughts are,... ok, select the nice thoughts fropm the bad ones and write only the nice ones.
