If you just found out the hard way (YOUCH!) that you're latex-allergic, Benadryl may help to relieve minor symptoms, but it can leave you drowsy. (Generic forms work just as well, by the way). There is a Benadryl contact spray that may be useful for a male, but I wouldn't advise it at all for the delicate mucous membranes of a female sufferer.......the stuff can sting quite a bit even on mosquito-bitten forearms, so use with caution.

If you're allergic to latex, one possible solution would be to use sheepskin---BUT this does not provide that much protection against the virus that causes AIDS, so "double-bagging" (using a latex condom AND a sheepskin one) is advisable. If the male is allergic, he'd wear the sheepskin first, then the latex; reverse it if the female is allergic. HOWEVER, you are really going to lose a lot of sensation if you do this.

Since allergic reactions can vary considerably, and can also be life-threatening, I'd recommend that you check into the newer non-latex polyurethane condoms.

In any case, remember to use a fresh condom, each time, and every time, to reduce the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

Depends on what you are allergic to. You can be allergic to the latex or the jell. You can go to you doctor and have a test down to see if you are allergic to latex. Insurance tends not to cover the whole amount. So if you cant afford it try condoms with no jell on them or try switching the brand. If that doesn't work and you are still having an allergic reaction its probably the latex. I had the same prob. It wasn't the latex. I would talk to you doctor about this.

If you are a guy you good juice things up and masturbate with hydrocortozone cream "it stops the itch". Shela's, well you could ask the bloke for some assistance in application.

I mean, don't be shy. He was poking around in there anyway...maybe it can be your new thing.

Take some benadryl. That should help you. You have a latex allergy and should avoid latex.
