Last night I had some popcorn, and a little (very very small) piece is stuck in the back of my mouth. I've tried swallowing bread, everything, and nothing's working. I even tried gargling with salt-water, but nothing works. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Do you know how long it took to heal? That may be the case since I swallowed a large piece by accident without swallowing.

Try drinking warm water.

OH! The month before my parents got married by dad got a popcorn kernal piece stuck in his salivary gland. The doctors were discussing surgery and all. So he is told by a woman at his work to gargle lemon juice. It makes your mouth salivate so the popcorn kernel will come out.

Try swishing lemon juice around in your mouth.

I actually had that happen one time and my doctor said it wasn't a piece stuck there that it was a scratch and it just felt like a piece was stuck.
