Yes it is wrong to tell your father to stay someone else. You stated that he was coming in to town so sounds like this is only a visit. If its a visit and not a move in, sure let him stay. My goodness this is your father after all not a stranger. Love between family members is priceless. Enjoy what time you all can have with your father. Anyway he will soon be leaving to return back to where he came from. Please don't be selfish. I pray this advice will help you.

I think you should tell your father how you feel, but in a nice way. Or, I don't think it would be too hard to share a room with your brother for a while.

If your dad is coming to visit and he's wants to have a room to use for himself....you should give it to him.
If he wants to share the room with his friend....he needs to get a hotel.

Im sure it is'nt wrong to tell your father to stay some where else, maybe if your mean about it, but if your intentions and reasons are good then there is nothing wrong with you asking him to stay somewhere else. anyways living in crowded conditions is annoying for everyone.

Well if he's visiting then I would say it's kind of disrespectful as far as wrong, there's really no wrong when it comes to feelings I just think it would make you look shallow....I mean he gave you life, you can't come off a room for a week or two think about it.....

It is a bit rude. He is coming to visit with you. If it is that much of an inconveinance and you know he can afford a hotel tell him it would be inconveinant and ask him to please stay at a hotel and if possible provide him with the phone number. If you have the money, rent the room for him.

Well its your apartment. Now if your parents are paying the rent then yes you should let them stay. If you are paying the bills then it is your castle and you make the rules and your dad shouldnt complain. Its your decision whether or not he should stay.

Sounds like you don't like his friend much or are at least uncomfortable with them?
I know you would like to say, can you find another place but he is your Dad and that might really hurt him. Think about it a little before you act.

If you can afford it, suggest that you rent a place for him and his friend nearby for the duration of the visit. Otherwise, tell him politely that you need your privacy and will not be comfortable with him and his buddy in your apt.

if his friend his some kind of perv. then no. If you are a little freak yourself, then i could see why you dint want him there. If its just a couple of days, why not. He put up with your stuff all those years. So my answer is YES let him stay.
