I actually read a thing on coffee that it helps with aging (so its a anti-agent) and combating cancer. Caffeine is a diuretic, so if your going to drink coffee make sure you drink plenty of water to or it can destroy your liver. Make sure that you drink a cup of water or juice for every cup of coffee that you drink. I love coffee I have to have at least 1-2 cups a day, its my weakness. But I also am a naturalist and nutrionist, so I do eat healthy. Its better than soda, carbonation is actually very bad for you and can cause osteoporosis, I dont drink sodas and havent in years, instead I drink juice which helps fill you up to, if you simply dont like water, drink juice, it is equivalent to water. Make sure that you keep it light on the sugar and if you use cream, use milk instead its less fattening, but rather than that, if it works there is nothing wrong with it. Even try the flavored richer coffees, like gevalia or one at a whole foods, they are a little more expensive, but they taste better and usually dont need as much sugar as folgers which I find is more bitter.

If you've got good nutrition overall, then yes. Black coffee is very similar to a glass of water. If you're adding cream, Coffeemate and sugar, then you may as well have food.
At the Kimkins Diet site I often recommend black coffee, diet soda or flavored waters as a substitute for mindless or nervous snacking.
Be sure to take a Centrum type vitamin each day.

Coffee is supposed to be full of antioxidents, drink away.
Just leave out the cream/sugar.
I drink 15-25 cups a day.

Thats a lot of caffeine, which isn't good. If you're craving food, try to stick to healthier choices (i know it's hard.. Im a chocoholic). Try drinking tea instead of coffee... tea has anitoxidents which are good for you. Or try even boring old water :)

I feel the same. It usually rids me of my morning hunger. However, just drinking coffee isn't a good diet in my opinion. You still need the nutrients and stuff in food to keep things normal.

well i think it's not ok, sure it's better then eating cupcakes and fast food, but is it better then an apple, or grapes, or even a granola bar? there are better options then a cup of coffee to subdue your craving, keep a snack or two in your purse

i'm very prepared on coffee interior the morning and tea (the two eco-friendly or black chai) by way of the day. I additionally like non caffeinated chai and cranberry tea for fluid retention. My circulate to medicinal soup (and don't choose persons) is Lipton's poultry noodle in a pouch. while i've got faith like crap this could be supped all day. i wouldn't in any respect heard of Bonox previously this night. we don't use Vegemite right here in Canada the two yet you are able to desire to purchase Marmite in case you seek no longer common and long.

i would say it is okay.. but your body does need food to survive. so maybe you could just drink a 8 oz glass of water before eating and that might fill you up a little, and eat slow so you can feel yourself get full...
