Because he intended them to live here on earth. If they did not disobey God by eating the forebidden fruit then they would still be alive here on earth. Nowhere in the Bible can you read that God promised Adam that he should go to heaven.

God's command was explicit. Have dominion over other animals, fill ( not over crowd) and take care of the earth. You can not make it any more clearer than it is.

Too, God did not set up Adam and Eve to sin. That idea is absurd. Why would he do that when that would result in the death of His only begotten son, Jesus?

God is love and just. He is not a scheming crook to set up somebody. He gives rain, and food to all.

But, Adam and Eve were free moral agents. They choose to obey and be under the rule of Satan, than their creator.

It was God's intention that man live on earth. He created Adam and Eve perfect and designed them to live forever. He put them in a garden paradise and told them to multiply and fill the earth.
Had they not listened to Satan, they would still be alive today and we would not have inherited sin and death from them.
It was never God's intention for man to die.
The Bible does not teach that all good people go to heavenHeaven is for spiritual beings and earth is for fleshly beings.

The earth was made to be inhabited, by humans and animals in a peaceful paradise. But Adam and Eve did not listen to Jehovah and now we have sin in a messed up world.

Adam and Eve were in the garden...or in "Paradise", which translates to "garden ground" or "place of ideal loveliness". Either way...I think they were in Heaven, as it was the Garden which is Heaven.

What do you think? Sound good?

I'm sure all the fruit in heaven is sweet, otherwise, it wouldn't be heaven.

Perhaps the authors of the bible understood this wouldn't make sense, and made up the garden so as not to spoil heaven.

Silly Christians, books are for stories.

Actually earth is a better place than heaven to grow and develop. Once in heaven, there is no growth. You stay as you are.
