I am also 5'6" Im not sure how old you are but when I was 18 I weighed between 160 and 170. At 160 I was a size 12 and actually began looking sick. As long as you dont seem to be fat and your doctor says your heathy I wouldnt worry about it.

5'6, you should probably weigh around 125-130 pounds. However, you don't give me enough info to see if your weight is ok. I need to know your age too and your bone structure. Are you naturally little? if you are, your weight seems a lil high. Test whether you are naturally small by wrapping your wrist with thumb and middle finger. If your middle finger goes over your thumb, you have a small bone structure. If they touch each other you are medium, if they don't you have a big bone structure. You should also take into consideration, since you say that you are not fat, that you might have more developed muscle, wich weighs more than fat.

i'm the same hgt. and wgt., i don't think i'm fat either. 150 sounds like a lot, but the taller you are the slimmer you are. Also, we may carry our weight better than others of the same weight. Everyone is different. When i go to the doctor and step on the scale they always start at like 130 and I'm like "nope, try 150!" They can never believe it hehe!

It sounds perfect to me. I really wouldn't judge by weight though. Everyone has different bone density and body proportion that causes others to weigh more. Take myself. I weigh a lot more than I look, but that is because I am tall and have heavy bones. My cousin is 5 ft 2, 140 pounds, but she looks like a stick because she has heavy bones and is muscular. Always remember, muscle weighs a lot more than fat. Your weight sounds perfect to me, sweetie.

The way to tell is to find you BMI (Body mass index). If your weight falls in the range of 18.5 to 24.9 you are in a healthy range and not considered overweight. I used a site to calculate yours and you are 24.2, so you are good. See: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/results_normal.htm?pounds=150&inches=66

How do you feel about yourself? Self acceptance is the main issue. if you feel good than you look good. Don't worry what others might think.
