I have gotten a root canal 7 years ago and it cost my parents, $600.00 each. I had to get a root canal on two teeth. Your best bet is to call and asked the dentist. But don't count on the root canal because even if you get one, it lasts for 5 years.
As far as the procedure itself, the only thing I remember is the x-ray, numbing, closing my mouth on the drill because I was half sleep at the time. Other than that I do not know.

In the metropolitan New York area, root canals run between $500 and $1000 depending on the specialist. You can price shop some large dental clinics. I have a friend who pays very little for dental work. He goes to a dental college and they have a senior year dental student work on him along with a dental instructor. Now, I had an abscess one time and did not need root canal. The antibiotic took are of it.

Dental treatment is becoming increasingly expensive here, more so when insurance coverage is absent. It is not surprizing people are traveling overseas to Thailand, Hungary, India, Dubai, etc. when needing more than couple of root canals. They come back happy with crowns on, spending much less including their holiday. An internet yahoo search like "dental care dubai tour" may help.

root canal with no insurance cost about 300.00. I would get it pulled that cost about 125.00. I had the same problem it is much cheaper to get it pulled if it is one of the teeth in the back

$400-1000. Without any complication. If you have to go for surgery as well, you're looking towards $1300-2000. This info depends on the office you are going to.
