I personally moved 2000 miles away to get away from my family. Long story you'ld fall asleep. My immediate family (wife, kids) I see after 14 hours of work a day. Well, my wife works weird hours, so not so much her. If you want an hourly amount, I would say I see my wife an average of 3 hours a day. The kids about 6 hours.

TOO MUCH! I see my parents about 3 times a week, when I pick up my daughter from their home.

I live/work in a Portland, OR neighborhood near my parents'. My daughter's school is also nearby, and my parents offer to babysit often. I know they like spending time with their grandchild, but we clash on issues like discipline, snacking, bedtimes, etc. Sometimes I think that in their minds, THEY are her parents not me.

I might have to move, just to put some distance between us - otherwise, I'm afraid that I'll either go crazy or slap them!
