It is called illusion. The bodily conception of life. As long as one is on this platform they will come back life after life. The whole material world is based on lust and the whole spiritual world is based on Love. One has to remove the veils of illusion to get out of this addition. Unless one gets a higher taste then they can not give up the lower things. The spiritualists are not interested in thees temporary so called pleasures. Once one finds their eternal relationship they loose their taste for their lower nature. Lust ,Greed, anger, etc. The quickest way to get a higher taste for spiritual reality is to chant the Maha mantra or the Mantra for deliverance
HareKrishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare chant on 108 beads and sixteen times around a day (about two hours) Your lust will turn into blissful love.

We're humans. That's why something so wrong can feel so right.

Now, all of this depends on what exactly what you are lusting after.

Another adult with similar feelings is OK. Almost everything else is probably going to be trouble.

All earthly pleasures feel good, but we are supposed to make the soul feel good.
BUT if you deny yourself, you won't be happy. If you overindulge, you'll feel guilty about it. Moderation is the way to go, IMO.

You know it's wrong, then don't do it. We've all grown up being taught right from wrong and the ones we act on are wrong. just the thoughts can't hurt, but actions....you have to live with it.
