a year ago i was 115 lbs, now i'm 130 (5'5). i used to go to the gym A LOT, but i stopped going. now i want to go back, but i'm feeling really self concious haveing 15 extra lbs on me. i guess its silly really, but if ppl are staring at me cause i gained so much weight, i wont have the guts to go back a second time. i need to lose this weight again cause its holding me back.
do u think a lot of ppl will notice? should i just try outdoors exersising for thr first 10lbs?
help!

I always find this somewhat funny. A lot of people won't go to the gym because they are not fit, or overweight, etc... You know what.. .going to the gym is the perfect place if you are out of shape. Just happens that maybe the 89% percent of the people that go over there are in the same situation, trying to lose the pounds... you are not alone. Why people concern so much about what other people think? You know, if you go to the gym... then you are ahead of a lot of people that do nothing in order to improve themselves, or get fit, etc. Do it for yourself... Focus your attention in your goals... and if you are too self-conscious about it.. Join a 24-hour fitness or a place that opens 24x7.. That way you can go when it is not too crowded... so you don't have to worry too much about the snob people that is just looking around instead of working out.... and one more thing.. beauty comes from within...

You're being self conscious, but the gym isn't only for skinny people. Get a friend or someone to go with you. People will stare no matter how you look. If you're slim and sexy or overweight or average we all look at other people. Hit the gym! You'll feel better once you get back into a routine.

run alone outside , walk to a private place the run then walk back, your alone so confidence is high plus you save money
