I ordered a bottle of wine, waiter served it to me like he should... after we went through the ritual this chick that was with me says" " How'd you know what to do? I wood have embarrassed myself...tee hee,hee,hee......she was a loser anyway.

I can remember a little girl I saw at a holiday dinner with my then-signficant-other's family. She couldn't have been more than four years old at the time, but she used "please", "thank you", "ma'am" and "sir". The one that really impressed me was when she asked her grandmother, "May I please have some ketchup for my turkey?" I could just see the respect she had for her family when she made the request, and was thrown to the ground.

I don't know that I've ever been amazed by anyone who exercised the proper etiquette, but I have however been amazed to find the opposite to your question - how little some people know of etiquette.

Holy Samoleons,

Nothing turns me on better than a girl with manners. Oh man. Unfortunately it hasn't happened often. Most people (even super sweethearts) are rude selfish jerks.

But it has happened before. I instantly fell in love with her.

i think etiquette should be taken for granted. if someone doesn't know anything about etiquette like your loser date then i think it says something more about them.
