I see this girl once a week in class, we sometimes talk but how do i start to talk about getting her phone number and to hang out one day after class without me getting to nervous to say anything at all.

Girls love it when guys make the first move. If you don't feel confident enough to ask her for her phone number, give her yours. Tell her that she can call anytime, if she needs any help with her homework, if she wants to talk some more about (whatever you two talk about a lot in class)...whatever.
The ball's in her court...if after a week she doesn't call...give her your email...if after a week you don't hear anything...
Maybe she just likes to talk to you in class, and that's as far as it'll go.
But you never know until you try!
If you want to call her and take the initiative, write her a note and pass it to her. Write on the note:
Can I call you tonight?
Check for "YES" here: _____
Check for "NO THANKS" here: ______
Simple fast, quick...you don't have to say anything.
You can put some other time there that you think you can set in your mind to be ready to talk.
Then...just see where everything goes from there...to ask her out!
Good Luck!

Just ask her plain and simple. If you beat around the bush she'll never give it to you. Even though you may be about to $hit your pants at the time you should seem as if it's no big deal to ask for her phone number and to want to hang out. That she doesn't see you as weird or the stalker type.

One time when you guys are talking, offer her your phone number and ask for hers. Tell her you'd like to hang out with her sometime and that you'll call her sometime later.

remember she is probably wanting you to ask. be casual, and tell her you was going to the _____, would she like to join you, your treat. If she would refuse, ask if there would be a better time for the 2 of you to hang out. and go from there.
