better granphis and quality is a relative thing. you need to go to a store yourself and preview these units. not eveyone has the same eyes, or percieves vision the same way...so relying on the advice of others as the only factor in purchasing a TV is foolish. Philips is a brand that's known for quality componets vs some of the newer Sanyo stuff that's come out..that doesn't mean sanyo doesn't have good products. anymore a lot of companies buy thier stuff from other corporations and resell it with thier logo.
you should really go to a store and look at TV's and decide what you want...you don't have to buy at the tore, i'm not saying that, i'm saying, go, look, play, decide which ones you like in the store then take that knowledge to wherever you want to purchase the TV. even if they don't have the exact models...you can get an idea if philips units are better than sanyo's because usually they carry componets over to other models.
