That is actually the point and desire behind Tanning. A Tan stays a long time,.. people Tan More to darken it more and more,.. over time.
Maybe someone can recommend products like luffas and lotions to help remove your outter most layers of skin.
If I were you though, I would contact my Doctor because these kind of things may be dangerous to you,.. on raw skin or if any mixxing of products happens.

Sorry this sounds like you may have some skin damage, I would go to the doctor asap. White patches in normal looking skin can be fungal but this just sounds like you need to keep out of the sun - sun tans are known to be bad for you, it is the skin's reaction to damage that makes you tan.
As I said see a doctor as a routine rather than emergency appointment and get it checked out.

The Reason your tan is not going away is because, usually you become tan, because the sun or tanning bed causes your skin to get tiny scabs on your skin, which is your tan, it will go away when the tiny scabs go away

exfoliate or something. get rid of that dead brown skin. or tan more.
