Go to the nearest Chinese restaurant, somebody there should be able to help, make sure you ask 3 different people, just to check in case somebody decides to have fun. If not, try a chat room, but that's asking for trouble.

Yeah, you should post a pic. I have seen tattoo books at Barnes and Noble in the ART section that describe the meaning of different tattoos.

You local Chinatown, and watch out what you think your tattoo parlor says is Chinese, a lot of people wind up with the wrong wording, check out www.hanzismatter.com/

any tattoo shop will have the meanings posted with the designs. you can also look them up on any site.
