First you don't want to pop it. Your body puts the fluid in there for a reason, protection and comfort. When you pop a blister, your body has to use more energy to heal it, therefore it will take longer. Plus if you pop it, you run the risk of infection and then it will take a really long time. To make it less painful is try not wearing shows around the house. If you have to wear shoes, put a band aid over the blister and then take a piece of toilet paper or Kleenex and fold it up and put it over the band aid. Then put a little tap over it to told it to your skin and put a show over that. This will help cushion your blister and cause the pain to go away and make it heal faster.

U definitely want to pop the blister to get the fluid out, pour peroxide over it, dry it with a clean dry cloth, then put some neosporin cream on it, cover with a bandaid so it don't get dirt in it and to prevent infection. At night take a nice clean bath/shower and blot it dry and let it air out at night, to dry it up.. Alot of these people are telling U not to pop it, but they are wrong. U must get rid of the liquid, in order for it to heal. My Aunt is a nurse, why would she lead me wrong with issues like this throughout my life. Trust me! This will make it heal alot faster and better. If you must wear the shoes, wear a bandaid, but try not to wear the same shoes, if you can go without shoes for a few days, do it!!! :)

puncture it with a needle to let the fluid out- this will stop most of the pain too.
then leave it alone until the skin comes off by itself. If you pull it off too quickly it will just leave a painful raw patch.
Clean socks every day! don't let it get infected.

don't pop it with your fingers.
sterilize a pin (with rubbing alcohol or something), then poke it that way. let the stuff inside drain out, then put neosporin (or antibiotic stuff like that) on it, and cover it with a band-aid.
