The US really leans towards moms having physical coustody, but it is very possible for the dad to get joint, where he has visits, as long as he has a clean record. if he has a jail or drug record, then no. but make sure you have a lawyer and make sure you ask for child support. My daughter in law has a daughter who is 7 years old and they live in Virginia, and they have to fly her to Idaho twice a year. however the dad couldnt afford a plane ticket this christmas so she doesnt have to go. good luck.

There isn't any such factor as a navy divorce. All divorces are civil concerns. Having mentioned that, the quantity of youngster aid is headquartered on sales. If there's a courtroom order in situation that states how so much youngster aid he must pay, then that is what he demands to pay. The handiest method he might petition the courts to scale down the quantity is that if his occasions modified and he immediately began making greatly much less cash. As for sending extra money each time his ex asks for it, he isn't obligated to try this and he's actually a idiot to take action.

well court always prefer the father to be in the picture some how.
if he is willing and actually wants to see his daughter the court will probably allow it if he agrees to make the trip or you can come to some sort of agreement..
unless there is reason enough not to allow him to see her......
my mother died last year and my step father got custody of my little brother despite the fact that our real dad wanted custody and is a good parent and has always been in his life.
they gave custody to my stepdad because he's grown up with him and knows life best with him. i think its rediculous but they will do what ever they think is best for child...
