Be honest be yourself and let things develop at their own pace. Emotional games are only played by immature people and there is a good chance it will backfire anyway. Most guys are sensitive to rejection and read 'hard to get' as 'not interested' these days and will back off very quick. Also we cant read subtle signals like females can so just be straightforward with us and it will pay off!

I shudder at the words 'playing hard to get'
I'm an honest individual, for years I was messed about by women 'playing hard to get'. If I was told 'no' or shown a cold shoulder I went away. Then the girl or woman in question would get upset because she thought I wasn't interested.
Don't play games. Be honest. It'll confuse the guy less. If you don't like him don't play with him at all.

You should let the guy know that youre not easy but consider the kind of guy youre interested in - will his interest keep?
In the past I admit I've mistaken Can't Get with Hard to Get. As a consequence, I view (and I know a hell of a lot of guys will agree with me) Hard to Get as a type of game. I have no tolerance for being toyed with. Be careful - most guys would rather walk away and risk missing out then the humiliation of finding out that the person they are chasing really isnt interested.

I always play incredibly hard to get. Depends entirely on how much you want to play hard to get.

not too hard so they lose interest. but hard enough that it aint easy for them either. Just dont seem offish: seem interested, but at a price: that'll keep 'em trying to prove themselves all the more!
