You might get them by gaining weight rather quickly. Some types of skin are prone to stretch marks more than others. There are different places where you get them, such as breasts (specially during puberty, they just go boom) hips and love handles (these are due to weight gain most of the times) and your tummy (pregnancies are responsible for these ones) Try drinking lot of water, moisturizers and almond oil, but it is very difficult to beat the gene pool.

Stretch marks mostly occur because the skin has grown too fast for it to stretch leaving marks on your skin. It does not mean you weigh alot. I have them but I am at a normal weight so don't worry. The best thing to do to get rid of them would be to exercise to help tone up muscle which will help the skin tighten up.

You get stretch marks usually in your teens. It's when you grow and your skin can't keep up, so it causes stretch marks. I have them too, but I've learned to live with them. Almost everybody has them, so it's nothing to be worried about. I think there are lotions and stuff that are supposed to help fade them, but I don't know if they work or not. A lot of people say they don't. But they will fade naturally over time.

Stretch marks usually occur when there is a significant weight loss or gain. The underlying tissue beneath the skins surface stretches/tears, and thus stretchmarks are the result.

Most people freak out about having stretch marks, but actually everyone has them, girls and guys. It just depends on your skins elasticity. They eventually fade over time, and most people don't even notice them anyway! You can get them at just about anytime in your life: pregnancy, weight gain/loss, or going through puberty can also cause the appearance of stretch marks.
So basically, don't worry about it too much, cause chances are, you're the only one who notices that they're there!

It's caused by stretching of the skin. Genetic plays a big part in who will have them also the elasticity of your skin. Basically when you skin stretches too far too fast it will lose its elasticity and its ability to recover much like a piece of elastic. It has nothing to do with weight. Puberty could cause them. If your breast develop fast you may end up with stretch marks.

It's because the skin stretches out when you gain or lose weight in a short time.

stretch marks occur with fast growth. they are common during puberty and pregnancy, because the body is growing faster than the skin can expand.

strech marks happen when our body grows faster than our skin normaly grows, so is trys to hurry up in the areas that u are growing, and since it can't take its time to match the other skin it ends up like scare tissue. so its not always because u are fat. for example I am 102 lbs, and I have strech marks on my legs because my legs grew to fast during my growth spurt.
