For all those who were lost in both of the botched wars: I wish you were alive to hear these bad jokes. They would be much easier to take than your deaths have been.

I know what you are talking about when you say botching the joke but I can not, for the life of me, figure out what 2 wars Kerry botched. As I know, he WAS involved in the Vietnam war but he was not in a position to be accused of botching it. If, by some stretch of the imagination, you are talking about G W Bush botching 2 wars, again, I cannot figure out what wars. We are still fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq,TO WIN THE PEACE IN BOTH, but, as of now, neither has been botched. Anyway, taking those facts into consideration, I'm afraid I must answer that the "joke" botching is the worst. Do you think the Republicans new battle cry should be "bury Kerry"?

Was it really a botched joke? Enlistment standards have been lowered. . . Regardless, Senator Kerry's remarks could easily have been misinterpreted (and misrepresented) as being an insult to those serving in Iraq. At least he's apologized! Where's our apology, Mr. President?

We've been lied to so much by the Bush administration that those of us who have our eyes open have a hard time believing the truth when they speak it. I guess we should have had this President Bush before President Clinton - President Clinton probably would have gotten away with little diddlings! We'd have been too confused to react!

That begs the question: What's worse? Oral sex and a little creative foreplay with a cigar or lying to the American people and the rest of the world about weapons of mass distraction?

And I would say that there are worse things you can say about a person than that he doesn't know how to tell a joke.

And I would like to say that education in the military is no better nor any worse than it is out of the military.

Except that I read on Yahoo News and at CBS news, that the military has "relaxed" its entry requirements so that a high school diploma is no longer needed, to get troops, saying that people without one can be trained to "do the job." People without a high school diploma are not educated.

I know for a fact that most military people have at least a high school education and that many military people have even better educations. But Kerry does make the point that without an education, your best bet to avoid a no-respect, no-pay, no-advancement job is getting "stuck in Iraq."

When judges are still saying to young defendants, "It's jail or the Army," nobody says they are saying people in the military are criminals. So nobody should say that when Kerry remarks that it's get an education or end up in Iraq, he is saying people in the military are uneducated.

botching a joke would be easy but when the USA starts it never ends. Good luck botching one of them

Do not try to botch a war in the USA you would get killed .
Good luck anyways

Kerry's not running for anything, Republicans are!!!
If they think the American people next Tuesday
are gonna focus on his bad jokes versus
how you've (Republicans) destroyed our country,
guess again!!!
