I've liked him for a long time.. we flirt a lot, practically everyday, and he's always making jokes about "us" like "when we get married" stuff like that. but i have a feeling it really is just a joke, and he's just kidding around. he says "luv ya" a lot, but i know he's kidding about that too...how do i tell if he's really kidding or not? and should i let him know that i like him? i don't want to ruin our friendship, or have things be awkward. But i also want to see if we have a chance...what should i do?

Get together with some friends and make plans to go to some local hangout. Then go over and say hi and start talking to him, after a while casually mention that you have to go as you promised to meet some friends at (the hangout) and if he would like to come with you. ☺
