Christ was 33 years old when he was crucified. Our calendar supposedly counts from the year of his birth so that would make his death in 34 A.D. being the start of the next year. However, many people feel that the calendar is off by about four years so if he was born in 4 A.D., his death would be at the start of 38 A.D. If he was born in 4 B.C., his death would be at the start of 29 B.C. I don't think anybody knows for sure.

Times in scripture, and in that time period in general, were associated with the ruling kings, and some of the historians living in that era. At times you will find a seasonal reference that will define the time period more accurately, but any more precision than that is impossible. It is generally known that Jesus was crucified in or around 30ad. By the way...ad does not mean, "after death"...it is a Latin term called Anno Domini, which means "Year of our Lord".

33 A.D. and Easter has nothing to do with Jesus's death. Easter is a pagan holiday hijacked by the Christians.

either 29 or 30 A. D. ascension was forty days later... the reason we know exactly when He arose is because of the Passover. ( I believe the year 30 A.D. timeline.)
