When they have been cheated on, or treated badly by a rogueish lover, people often say, "It's not so much what he/she did, it's the lies and deciet that really hurt."

Does this mean I would not only be successful, but considered a wonderful lover if I were to start approaching women by saying, "I'm not single, I have no intention of ever loving or respecting you, but I'd like to have sex with you - preferably several times - you look like you're a bit thick and quite easy, so I thought I'd push my luck...no offence...?"

Or is it not so much the lies and deciet after all?

Well....as you very well know....there is honesty and then there is honesty. It is always better to be honest. Always. It may not get you what you want but being dishonest will do you in sooner or later.

Now in being honest you do not always say everything that is on your mind. To begin with if you are not single you should not be trying to get another girl friend. If that is more desirable then stop seeing the first one.

Most importantly you must be single or about to be.

Women know what you want. You don't have to spell it out.
If you consider all of the things you said as not being deceitful then good luck. Your right but who in their right mind would not run from you.

A smart way to put things. But, no. I think the meaning is usually in the context that if someone lied to you into something you'd not have agreed to had not been for the lie, then you will offended twice. First, because you lost something and second because you are taken for a fool.

Its best to be honest, but that are ways of wording things to increase your luck!
It is best to be unfront and tell a lady that you aren't single - but phrase it in a way that doesn't make you seem a horrid man! Tell her that you are looking for a bit of fun, with no strings and you are more likely to get a positive response than you would with what you said above!

oddly enough, that seems to work.

well, I wouldn't mention the several times thing and frankly, you don't want to sleep with a girl if you do not respect her or love at least for a few hours, but largely, they seem to be more attracted to you if you make it clear that your intention is to get laid again. Judt like last night with someone else.....

I see nothing wrong with telling the honest truth, but with something like that you should be honest but you should find a different way to say that. Half of them or not all might slap you because if it. Be careful with how you say it.

Honesty is the best policy...whoever made up that line of BS never had a bi+ch use his honest words against him in a later argument.

well honesty is the best policy but i dont think you will get much with that approach it would, however, ensure that anyone you did get knew the score and maybe wanted it like that to.

It's the lies and deceit from someone you grew to trust over a long period.
