You claim to be ex-military yet you still manage to be totaly clueless about the realities of war.
After Israel pulled out of the Gaza, sudden peace did not ensue in case you did not notice.
Gaza was, and is, a hotbed for terrorism. This has neccessitated that Israel go back into Gaza and do something about it.
Currently, one of the major issues is that dozens of tunnels were dug and are being used to smuggle all kinds of weapons from Egypt. Israel has the full right to do something about it.

Israel gave back Gaza in the hope of peace. Most ordinary people in Gaza would like to just get on with their lives but they get whipped into frenzies by fanatic who have their own agenda at the expense of civilians. There will not be peace until the Arabs love their children more that they hate the Jews. So when they stop killing the Israeli's will stop killing, Israel is only the size of Wales they only wanted it (after a lot of swamp and desert land was sold to the Jewish Agency for a lot of profit and they were very pleased to of sold the duff land) and suddenly the land was irrigated and crops began to grow then jealousy set in.
Before when the Israeli's were in Gaza and they used to employ a lot of labourers to work in Israel the fanatics sent in suicide bombers to blow up civilian in Israel so Israel was forced to stop employing them. Before they start blaming Israel they should look closer to home to solve their problems and not the Israeli's or Americans.

When the Jews stop being the most powerful/sucessful/richest people in the world.
That will never happen. It says in the Quran that the descendants of Ismail( Muslims) would suffer and the decendants of Isaac (Jews) would be wise and sucessful. Consider that this book was written centuries ago- before any on the conflict in the Middle East.

Good question. As an American I never voted to support Israel. Yet, some of my tax dollars are spent to support thier government. I DON"T LIKE IT! I don't support terrorism, but I do sympathise with Palestine.

The Israelis kill hundreds of innocents, or those who are just pissed off because innocents are getting killed. True, some of the palestinians are shits and are killing innocent Israelis, but continual killing only creates more hatred, on both sides.
