I found that trying to pick a name before you get the dog generally doesn't work, it helps to see what their personality and quirks are before you pick a name many times they will pick their own name!

Maggie, Gracie, Gus, Dixie... these are all names that were in the running for my parents' Boston Terrier. (they decided on Maggie :) )
