at least 15%, but if you really love it then tip more, but never less. a good way to figure it out is $1 for every $7

This totally depends on the results. If they fried your hair - obviously - you may not even want to pay for the service. If it was okay - $5. I would tip my hair dresser $10 - it depends on how much money you have to tip them too. Most hairdressers are not totally concerned about getting a tip these days. I'm not sure if there is a percentage on etiquette.

It relies upon on how a lot it fee once my daughter needed blue streaks put in and they made a correct mess her hair after 5 hours became eco-friendly subsequently NO tip. I continually provide my hairdresser £a million and 50p for the girls who washes it they don't earn diverse money. even as i became a teen many moons in the past I worked as trainee for 18mths and the pay became absolutely one of its worst round and lengthy hours on ft. i imagine pay is more effective perfect now yet leaving a tip is a own decision so do not experience undesirable I wager it fee arm and a leg to have it achieved.

I AM A HAIRDRESSER AND IN SCHOOL THEY SAY 15-20% IS ADEQUATE. I BELIVE IT DEPENDS ON THE SERVICE IF YOU GIVE A FEW DOLLARS FOR A HAIRCUT IM FINE WITH THAT BUT, WHEN I SPEND HOURS HIGHLIGHTING WITH FOILS OR SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH A CLIENT AND THEY GIVE ME A FEW DOLLARS I GET OFFENDED. IF YOU LOOK AT IT FROM OUR POINT OF VIEW THE HOURS YOU SPEND DOING A SERVICE THAT TAKES A LOT OF TIME WHEN YOU COULD OF DONE SEVERAL HAIRCUTS IN THAT TIME YOU WOULD OF MADE MORE TIPS AND WE MAKE MOST OF OUR MONEY FROM TIPS. I APPRECIATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CAN REALIZE THAT AND APPRECIATE MY TIME AS MUCH AS THEIR SERVICE.

I always tip 20%. The minimum I would tip is 15%. I live in L.A. though and I think we tend to tip high compared with other places I've lived.

It depends on how happy you are with the job they did. If they aren't that good and you are not satisfied, I would leave them a dollar or two. If they do o.k. and you are satisfied, I would leave them $3 or $4. If they are great and you absolutely love the job they did, I would leave them $5

Depends on what I have done & the time of day. Standard 15% to 20%. But if she stays late for me I always add at least an extra $10.00.
