COMMON SENSE SAYS NOT TO DO ANY LIFTING ANY TIME DURING A PREGNANCY. GOD FORBID SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS, YOU WILL ONLY BLAME YOURSELF. GET ON BED REST IF NEED BE. PLEASE DO NOT LIFT ANYTHING OR ANYONE. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED TO LIFT ANYTHING OVER 10 POUNDS. THATS JUST MY OPINION. WOMEN SHOULDNT LIFT THINGS THAT ARE HEAVY REGARDLESS IF THEY ARE PREGNANT. WE HAVE TOO MANY INTERNAL ORGANS THAT CAN BE DAMAGED IF WE OVER EXERT OURSELVES. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. MY MOTHER SEEMS TO HAVE PAIN DOWN THERE ANYTIME SHE LIFTS SOMETHING HEAVY. SHE DOESNT REALIZE UNTIL I TELL HER THAT IT IS BECAUSE SHE LIFTED 30 POUNDS OF PIZZA DOUGH THAT HER LOWER ABDOMINAL AREA HAS PAIN. SO IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, IT IS DEFINATELY NOT GOOD TO LIFT "ANYTHING".

I feel it has extra to do with adulthood than with age by myself. I am 22 and I simply had my first two months in the past in these days. It has been probably the most exotic revel in and has introduced me and my husband nearer. My youngster was once semi-deliberate...we attempted after which stopped making an attempt....I recognize humans which are 35 and so immature that I wouldnt depart my baby by myself with them. I have no longer completed colllege however alternatively I am a keep at dwelling mother at 22 too. It has not anything to do with being fiancially set or academic repute. If you wait till you'll have enough money a baby, you'll be ready your entire existence. I wager there isn't a proper or mistaken age. Anyone is ready, it simply takes adulthood. I feel it offers all people a nasty identify on account that such a lot of youngsters have become pregnant and their dad and mom are elevating the toddlers.

You may want to inform your employer and not over work yourself or stress yourself that much or you may miscarry again. I'm soo sorry that happend to you by the way. You may also want to pick up lighter duties...if offered or not work as much as you would during a normal work week. Hope things work out!

Since you already had a miscarriage once I wouldn't risk it again. I used to work as a cna. They can always put you on light duty if you get a note from your doctor.

LIfting is considered okay by most doctors. But some do disagree. You should talk to your OB and find out what they think is best for you.

i know when i was pregnant i did everything, pushing, pulling, lifting, ect. its all in the techinique. although i was not considered to be high risk. your boss should know that you are pregnant, and you really need to talk to your doctor about this situation. he will direct you in the right direction.

Your supervisor MUST assign you to duties that in no way put your pregnancy at risk. This is your right; ask for it to be put in practice.
